OUR TAKE

A leased-number budget with channel-specific add-ons

Contiguity is relevant to buyers combining communication channels, provided each channel has its own line in the cost sheet. The iMessage subtotal should be built from the lease and capability table.

Add the number and its capability

The pricing page separates a number-only lease at $9.99 monthly from the iMessage capability at $69.99. Together those published components produce a $79.98 monthly subtotal for one leased number before setup or a use-case surcharge.

The general Unlimited subscription is described as SMS, MMS and email, with a voice credit. Using its $19.99 rate as the iMessage price would confuse a broad communications plan with an additional leased-number channel.

Leave the unknown setup cost visible

The iMessage row marks setup as extra, and the number-leasing section says one-time setup and use-case charges may apply. A planning sheet should leave those amounts as quote inputs rather than invent zeroes.

If your system also needs voice or WhatsApp, add the relevant capability and billing model separately. A single vendor relationship does not mean one subscription includes all its channels.

Ask for a channel-specific order

Request the number, iMessage setup, production permissions and other chosen capabilities in one written quote. Confirm how changes to the use case affect the recurring amount.

The arithmetic is useful for preparing that conversation; it does not replace the provider’s complete production offer.

The decision in one sentence

Treat $79.98 as a published component subtotal, then obtain the missing costs.
